Gogo We Sthembu, also known as Khothatso Hlophe, is a multifaceted professional with a B. An in Development Studies, a multidisciplinary Social Sciences degree focused on societal change. Alongside her academic pursuits, she is deeply rooted in her cultural identity as a Sangoma and serves as the first wife in a polygamous marriage.  

Drawing from her journey of transitioning from monogamy to polygyny, Gogo We Sthembu channels her experiences into meaningful teachings and activism. Through her company, Straightforward Pele-Pele, she provides one-on-one sessions, group events, and seminars tailored to women struggling with accepting polygamy and men facing challenges in uniting their wives.  

As a Personal, Spiritual, and Marriage Development Advisor, Gogo We Sthembu specializes in helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of transitioning from monogamy to polygamy. Her expertise lies in facilitating conversations that foster love, dignity, and healing, particularly for those grappling with unhealed traumas and sudden life changes.  

With over 12 years of corporate experience spanning six diverse industries—including Radio, Tourism & Hospitality, Mining, Manufacturing, FMCG, Engineering, and Construction and a seasoned voice over artist—Gogo We Sthembu brings a wealth of knowledge in projects administration, organizational management, training, and accounts payable specialization.
